Create Email Account with cPanel

Learn how to create an e-mail account using cPanel for your business.

Follow the steps below to create an email account using cPanel.

Login to cPanel

Enter https://yourdomain.com.au/cpanel into your browsers navigation bar.

A prompt comes up asking you to enter login information.

  1. User Name: provided to you
  2. Password: provided to you

Now that you have logged in you will be at the main page.

  1. Click Mail this icon should be at the top left of all the icons in the middle of the page.

  1. Click Add/Remove/Manage Account

 

Mail Account Maintenance

  1. Click Add Account

Modify/Add Auto-responder

  1. Email: Enter in the prefix for your email E.g. 'john.smith'
  2. Password: Enter the password that you want to use for this account.
  3. Quota: Enter the total amount of megabytes that you want the mail account to have.
  4. @: This is where you select what domain you want used. If you have one domain only then you won't need to click this.
  5. Click Create
