Change Email Account Password with cPanel

Follow the steps below to change a password for an email account using cPanel.

Login to cPanel

Enter https://yourdomain.com.au/cpanel into your browsers navigation bar.

A prompt comes up asking you to enter login information.

  1. User Name: provided to you
  2. Password: provided to you

Now that you have logged in you will be at the main page.

  1. Click Mail this icon should be at the top left of all the icons in the middle of the page.

  1. Click Add/Remove/Manage Account

 

Mail Account Maintenance

  1. Click Password on the same line as the account you want to change the password for.

Modify/Add Auto-responder

  1. New Password: Enter the password that you want to use for this account.
  2. Click Change

 

You've now update the password for your email account, that can be used straight away. See our help guides for setting up your email clients.
