Setup Mac Mail Email Account

To setup Mac Mail Email Accounts Follow these simple steps to Configure Thunderbird so you can download your emails.
  1. Open Mac Mail
    If a Wizard program comes up wanting you to configure Mac Mail, follow through with the wizard program and use the settings that are mentioned below. If you already have an email account setup in Mac Mail you will need to use the following instructions to get your new email account setup
  2. Click on File...
  3. Click on Add Account...

 

General Information

  1. Account Type: POP
  2. Account Description: This will help you remember what the account is for. A common description is the name of the person that the account is for.
  3. Full Name: This is the name that your recipients will see when you send them an email.

  5. Click Continue

Incoming Mail Server

  1. Incoming Server: mail.yourdomain.com.au
  2. User Name:  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  3. Password: this is supplied to you
  4. Click Continue

Outgoing Mail Server

  1. Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com.au
  2. Use Authentication: Check this
  3. User Name: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  4. Password: this is supplied to you This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
  5. Click Continue

Account Summary

  1. Click Continue

Conclusion

  1. Click Done
