Create Auto Responders with cPanel

Follow the steps below to configure Auto Responders for your email accounts using cPanel.

Login to cPanel

Enter https://yourdomain.com.au/cpanel into your browsers navigation bar.

A prompt comes up asking you to enter login information.

  1. User Name: provided to you
  2. Password: provided to you

Now that you have logged in you will be at the main page.

  1. Click Mail. This icon should be at the top left of all the icons in the middle of the page.

  1. Click Auto-responders

 

Auto-responder Maintenance

  1. Click Add Auto-responder

Modify/Add Auto-responder

  1. Email: Enter in the prefix for your email E.g. 'john.smith'
  2. From: Enter the sender name that you want them to see. E.g. 'John Smith'
  3. Subject: This is the subject that the recipient will see. E.g. 'Thank you for your e,mail'
  4. Character Set: Leave this as is.
  5. HTML Message: Leave this unchecked unless you have someone that can create a HTML formatted response for you.
  6. Body: This is the part where you type in the message you want your recipients to read.
  7. Click Create/Modify
